Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nacogdoches, Texas

Y’all means all. Every Sunday at 11 am | 903 North St, Nacogdoches, TX

Come, as people beloved in the Triune God; to sing, pray, engage the Word proclaimed, be claimed (in baptism) and renewed (through communion) through the means of grace, and live out belonging drawn together by power of the Holy Spirit.

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. Members of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.”

1 Cor 12:12,18,22

Trusting God has done all that needs doing through Jesus – we live as beloved children: weeping with those who weep and joyfully with those who are filled with joy.

The petty princes, the political powers, evil, death, and sin
do not have the last word.
The darkness of it all surrounds us, threatening to swallow us whole.
Like a finger trap the harder you pull, push, anxiously fight,
and mindlessly ‘scrollingly’ avoid… the more caught you are.
Which is to say, peace comes not where or how we expect it.
Jesus, Prince of Peace did not overthrow a king,
but lived peace to his dying breath on the cross.

The Peace the Holy Spirit is bringing to you
is unstoppable
like light seeking the seed stuck under the concrete.
The tender mercy of God breaks in to find you
right there in the shadow of death.
