CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Jesus said, I am the good shepherd and the gate for the sheep.
All: My shepherd leads me in right paths; I will fear no evil.
Leader: Jesus said, I came to give life, and to give it abundantly.
All: In the house of the Lord we receive life forevermore.
WORDS OF WELCOME AND OPENING PRAYER
The Day of Resurrection!
CALL TO CONFESSION AND PRAYER OF CONFESSION
The proof of God’s amazing love is this: while we were sinners Christ died for us. Because we have faith in him, we dare to approach God with confidence. Let us pray:
All: Living and Gracious God, we confess that we look for the living among the dead. You lead us toward green pastures but we wander in dark valleys. You call us by name but we pretend not to hear. Forgive us; give us new life! Watch over us as a Good Shepherd that we may have abundant life, the life that death cannot destroy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.
Lord, Have Mercy Upon Us
DECLARATION OF PARDON
Leader: The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. I declare to you, in the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. May the God of mercy, who forgives us all our sins, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life.
All: In Christ we are forgiven! In Christ we have eternal life! Alleluia! Amen.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
The Nicene Creed (Ecumenical Version)
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father, through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. AMEN.

Great Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts
We lift them to the Lord
Let us give thanks to God
It is right to give God thanks and praise.
It is indeed right …..with all the faithful of every time and place, who forever sing to the glory of your name:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
