There are several small groups at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The first one started over 10 years ago with a group of ladies who wanted to get to know one another better and to study God’s word. This group grew and additional small group meetings were added. Each group has an individual personality built from those who attend and contribute.
The purpose of a small group is to share, speak from personal experience, listen and keep confidences. Small group members put faith into action while communicating at a personal level and having meaningful fellowship. Meetings are opened and closed prayer for the needs of those in the group, within the church and the world. Scripture is the central authority as groups share faith journey stories and teaching responsibilities.

Dragonflies
The Dragonflies is a small study group that meets on Wednesday afternoons at 1 p.m. in the “Windows” room down from the fellowship hall. On occasion we meet at a restaurant or the home of a member.

Tuesday Evening Prayer Group
This group meets weekly and we bond through Christ by sharing our faith, lives and prayers with one another through readings, scripture and prayer.
As the name of our group suggests, we meet on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 in room 102 of the Christian Education Building.
Come and join us; we would love to have you! For more information, please call 936-564-0203.
